She and her husband David Heitmiller co-authored Getting
a Life: Strategies for Simple Living based on the Revolutionary
Program for Financial Freedom “Your Money or Your Life.”
This book, a sequel to Your Money
or Your Life by Joe Dominguez and Vicki Robin, tells
how Jacque, David and 47 other individuals transformed their
relationship with money and now lead fuller, more meaningful
lives.
A veteran of corporate America –- sales and marketing
at AT&T – Jacque left the fast track and declared
financial independence in January, 1994. From 1995 through
2002 she has led numerous workshops and spoken in a variety
of venues on Voluntary Simplicity and Your Money or Your
Life.
In
2000, she provided input for an outreach program on sustainability
for low-income families through the Central Area Motivation
Program (CAMP) in Seattle. And from 1999 through 2002, Jacque
co-authored a column with Vicki Robin for Real Money
a quarterly newsletter published by Co-op America. (See
writing projects.)
